Eh, whatever. At least now maybe the radio weasels will shut up about it.

Lou is a fine manager, but there are several capable and deserving candidates to replace him at any time should he decide to pursue other opportunities.  

I'll take a Bill Evers (minors), Terry Kennedy (indy league) or a host of other possibilities to manage the club and save a few million that could go to player contracts in the process.

My first pick undoubtedly would be Bobby Valentine, except he has a multi-year deal with the Chiba Lotte Marines in the NPB-Japan.

I miss Chris Bosio.

Bosio is a great guy. However, what this team is lacking is a proven pitching coach. I see no growth in pitching staff.  We need a Ray Miller like pitching guru here. For example, Daniel Cabrera of O's has progressed somewhat this season. Our pitchers either go down after failure, or end up on the restricted list. Where is the improvments...
