Rays sign Dan Miceli?
Ok I know we need pitching help and all, but signing a journeyman pitcher, who is 35 years old, to a 2 year deal with an option for a third? This makes no sense to me.
Just to make room for this guy, the Rays DFA's Franklin Nunez. Well I guess I'll wait and see. What do you all think of this signing?

It's a reliever....
With the signings of all these relievers, there's a good chance that we might not see Travis Harper and Lance Carter in the 'pen. I like hearing that.

Rumor idea
Normally I give ESPN.com Rumor Central all the credence I give your average politician or telemarketer (which is to say none). But in throwing stuff against the wall concerning Wade Miller to see what sticks, they threw in the Devil Rays.
I don't dislike the idea. If it takes an extravagant contract, then no, not with his arm issues. But if they could get him in with an incentive-heavy deal I like the idea. He's got to be a step up from Hendrickson or Waechter in the rotation, he's got a little experience (including playoff experience) and success in his past, and needs to prove himself. St. Pete would be as good a place as any to do that.
But what say ye of the assembly?

I actually believe this rumor
If he's truly healthy(like reports say he is now), it's a steal.
