Just to clarify, I did mean "Toady Witt", rather than "Today Witt".   Either would fit, but the former is more apropos.

Think about it

If he was called up because he was kissing ass, wouldn't he have gotten the call some time ago? I mean, there is only about a week left before roster expansion, when he would have been called up regardless. You'd think kissing ass would have meant he had been called up sooner.

Explanation

It takes the Devil Rays Front Office 2 hours to watch 60 minutes and a couple weeks to read USA Today.    Just saying.
