Desmond Jennings finally gets his today, and here's the HS throwback pic.

A two sport star in high school Jennings had sexual assault charges pressed, and then dropped, which lead to an Alabama football scholarship being withdrawn. D.J. possesses great speed, good on-base skills, and an ability to hit for average and power, also good range in centerfield to boot. 2007 was truly his breakout season, showing why the Rays took him in the 10th round just a year prior. The Carl Crawford comparisons are there, but at this age Crawford was all ready in the majors, and there's certainly no need to rush Jennings.

Deion was Deion because he did everything. If he would have stuck to baseball he would have been unspectacular.

I went with Mason and I imagine I'll go with Perez tommorow. Mason doesn't have a huge ceiling but his production in Montgomery was encouraging. Hope he can keep it up in Durham next season.
