so last year in the post-season P Kenny Rogers of the Detroit Tigers gets caught with Brown sticky resin on his forearm. It was so obvious that Kenny was asked to wash it OFF! .... Does MLB Investigate? No

As RJ pointed out, Francisco Rodriguez (K-Rod) of the Angels recently got caught with what appears to be White resin under his ball cap. Does MLB investigate? Yes

oh but why? in a regular season ball game, when the lights arent so bright, does MLB decide to investigate? Especially when the residue was white, which clearly could have been the mound resin .........

Last season, P Jake Peavy of the San Diego Padres also had something Brown/Black under the bill of his cap. Did MLB investigate? No
