Lewis Rollins, Townsend, Fines, et al...
Anyone know much about Lewis Rollins? Seems to be a bit under the radar, dominating in Columbus and looking like he should be over in Vero. Very solid year in short season last year, too.
Any update on Townsend? Been shut down for a while now...
The staff in Columbus looks very, very good... Fantastic to see all of this pitching depth!! Leads me to think Price is not necessarily the way to go in the draft...

Rollins
Haven't heard an update on Townsend, but I'd expect him back within the week.
We're stacked pitching wise at AAA, low A, and high A, along with guys like Tyree Hayes who will partake in EST.
You can never have enough pitching

Or
Re: Or
They're basically the same pitcher, however Price being a well-polished lefty who is practically MLB-ready does alot for me than a right-handed "raw talent" like Ricky Porcello. Being a dominant lefty>raw talent righty.

Ceiling's close
From what I've read, Porcello has a fastball that sits in the 90-94 range touching 97. But Porcello is still has projection left in his frame to up his velocity into the Verlander range (it doesn't always happen, but he could gain velocity which is why his ceiling is higher). He's also got an above-average breaking pitch. He's also supposedly pretty polished for a HS pitcher.
Again, I was just busting Patrick's chops. I think we will and should draft Price. I like Porcello a lot as a pitcher, and think barring injury he's going to be a very good pitcher, but he's not the guy we should draft unless Price gets hurt or is showing signs of an injury late in the season and our scouts think he's playing injured (i.e. velocity drops signifigantly or something like that).
