Jonny Gomes installed his own good luck charm inside the Rays' clubhouse before Friday night's game when he arrived with a store-bought plastic rooster. He would not divulge where he purchased the rooster, but he did allow that it is a "good luck rooster" and that every player needed to touch it before going out to the field before the start of the game. "Just turn your whole day over to the rooster," Gomes said. "Your at-bats, your pitches."
