The Rays have designated Casey Fossum for assignment, he has 72 hours to report to Durham or become a free agent, I'll have the financial information come tomorrow, but this should mean the Rays will pay Fossum's 300K buyout that we've discussed.
Jon Switzer will take Fossum's place.
