Anyhow Bishoff - who's waiting on some special news as it is - will be essentially taking my spot for a while, I'll still contribute around these parts, but for now I'm going to direct most of my attention to Beyond, we're beginning our team previews on Monday and I'm not half assing things like normal.

Pretty tough when an organization's top 3B prospect spent more time in rehab clinics and operating tables than he did on the field last year. Given that he is out of options, the Braves are in a tough spot with him like we are with Jackson. The Braves gave up Betemit to get Aybar in a deal and have not seen much return on that (terrible deal IMO). He is a good Chipper Jones insurance policy because there is no way Chipper sees 500+ at bats again.

It is a list from this past September but it includes a list of players that are out of options.

talks about Aybar. A buddy of mine is also hearing from Braves ins that something seems to be happening on their end. The trade rumors on their end border on hilarious.
