Playoffs-Trop Parking Fees

Does anyone know if the parking fees will increase for the playoffs?

I heard a rumor from someone I sit next to at the games. She heard from the guy who runs the lot where she parks that the prices will go up for the playoffs. I think she parks in one of those independant lots like the one at the old Winn Dixie on 3rd Ave in front of the Trop. Has anyone heard anything about the Trop's parking fees increasing too?

Haven't heard anything

but I am sure the indy lots will jack up the prices. It’s supply and demand. I would do the same if I was them.

The independent guys are free to do what they want

But I believe that the Rays have already said that parking fees will remain the same throughout the playoffs, so $10 in their lots unless you have 4 people.

another reason why Rays baseball is amazing

compare to paying $50 for a game in Bean town for parking alone. But then again that is down town boston for you.

Also is tail gating still ok at the trop? I remeber tail gating last year before a Sox Rays game. All the Sox fans were looking at me funny while I was enjoying my ribs and steak.
