The Sun Also Rises

In the last decade 20 League Championship Series' have been played. That means 20 teams have fallen behind 0-1. Seven have came back to win the series. That's 35% of the time -- including the 2006 NLCS, their game one looked strikingly like our game one. Of those seven only one lost game two, dropping our chances to 5%. This is not a must win, because there will be additional games no matter what, but let's not play against the percentages.

Game 2 is a must win for you guys

It just is. If you lose, it’s basically ‘come back next season’.

We’ll see of what Kaz is made of tonight. Can’t wait.

Mother---- him and John Wayne!

I wouldn't worry about us.

Beckett on the other hand hasn’t looked good in a while.

That night wasn't that bad.....really

We basically lost on a check swing by Mark Kotsay…….which really, really sucks but oh well. Even with Dice-K pitching so well, the Rays still had chances, just didn’t get that big hit or sac fly like they normally do. It sucks that we couldn’t win a game where we kept the Red Sox to only 2 runs, but the Rays are right there still. It’s a 7 game series, and Fenway is not impossible to win at.

we lost because our offense did nothing

our pitching and defense did great, and if you want to point to the Crawford missed catch, fine, but that should not have been a big deal.

Longo, Pena, BJ, Floyd… NEED RUNS

What are you talking about trollboy

We didn’t get the big hit of the guy that had the lowest BAa in the bigs. Same old song and dance with him you will get baserunners but 3rd base is usually as far as they go.

What worries me is the starting pitching for the Sox

We are going to be very good all series. Great even. But if the Sox stuff our offense like they did the Angels, we will be in trouble.

I do not want to see another series like the one we had in Detroit.
