32 fans detained

"Get up on your knees!" a female officer yelled at a handcuffed, barefoot Red Sox fan Friday night as at least three officers dragged the limp man into the holding tank.
Andy Munkittrick, 27, was among those ejected Friday night.
He said he was ringing his cowbell according to etiquette before the third out when a Red Sox fan grabbed it and threatened to "kick his a--" if he rang it again.
Munkittrick rang it again. Police took him to the holding area, saying it was an "aggressive move," according to Munkittrick
Reading this article I get the impression that Red Sox fans acted as they usually do, like classless, arrogant punks. If you don't like the cowbell, then watch the game at home, or better yet go back to Boston! But my favorite part of the article is at the bottom:
Chris Michalicka, 31, of St. Petersburg, was the sixth ejection Friday night. He said he was simply "being too loud at a baseball game."
Michalicka said a Red Sox fan came up to him bragging about his team being the best. Michalicka started yelling at him. That's when police intervened.
He also received a two-day trespass warning. A police officer warned in a stern voice that if he returned to the Trop, he would be arrested.
"I don't know what crime I committed," he said. "Nothing happened."
As police led him outside Gate 4, he shouted, "Go Rays! Go Rays!"
But police would see him again. Michalicka was arrested for violating the trespass warning later that night.
In his mug shot, he wears a little smile and a Rayhawk.

Though I haven't run into the situation, personally...
I’ve wondered how the Fan Hosts would deal with someone complaining about the cowbells. I can say that if a fan asked/told me to stop ringing the bell just because they didn’t like it, I wouldn’t stop, assuming I wasn’t being rude with the bell. I would tell them to go complain to a Fan Host. I adhere to the cowbell etiquette, and I try not to ring the bell directly in anyone’s ears. I don’t know how Andy was ringing his bell, so I can’t say if he was in the wrong or not, as far as his bell-ringing. I do think that the guy who threatened Andy with violence for doing what tens of thousands of other fans were doing should have been kicked out.
I wonder if TBS' ratings would be an all-time high
if there could be a Rays-Sox fight at Fenway. If there is a fight between Rays fans and Sox fans, let’s hope TBS cameras show all of ‘em. Then let’s see what Ernie Johnson, Cal Ripken and Tony Gwynn say.
My name is Finlay, and I love to fight!
Dude, I believe it was two years ago when the Rays first started the cowbell giveaway.
I saw a Red Sox fan throw a cowbell at a Rays fan’s head. Needless to say the Rays fan was pissed and charged the offending Red Sox fan. It was a classless move. When people ask the Red Sox fan as to why? He replied “because my fucking team lost to a bunch of fucking bums!”
The funny part of this whole event was the fact that I went to the game with a friend who was born in Boston and is a die-hard Red Sox fan. Before the game she couldn’t understand why I was so down on the Red Sox fans. Now she understood where I was coming from.
