The rays have 11 hits 12 runs 2 errors. If you take their hits minus their runs you get 1, which we’ll put in the first numerical column. If you triple their errors you get 6 which we’ll put in the 2nd numerical column.
if you add the Red Sox runs (1) and hits (2) and put it in the third numerical column, and you put their errors (0) in the 4th column.

I’m very interested to see whether he’s going to have any potential in the pen. Throwing 99 mph heat at tired batters late in the game is obviously nice, but even if he ends up being a potent reliever, could it compare to his trade value?

No downside to this, though.

If this experiment works, his being a viable option as a reliever will only boost his trade value. If it doesn’t, the league saw enough flashes of brilliance out of him this year to warrant giving up 3rd starter value. And being an above average hitter doesn’t hurt, either.
