New Blog: RSL Soapbox for Real Salt Lake Fans!

thanks for a great 1st year of my use of this blog

hey everyone i would just like to thank you guys for making this blogging thing alot of fun. as most of you know i have been a fan of the rays since 2002, and remember days when i thought that dewon brazelton was going to our future ace lol wow how alot of us were probably wrong about that lol

i get sportingnews weekly and about a year and a half ago they made an article about how hope for the rays shouldnt be lost and then towards the end of it, they mentioned draysbay as a blog to check out and i never really had time for anything like that since it was the end of my senior year and i had to bust my ass to just graduate, so i figured that i would just go check it out sometime after i graduated and finally got around to checking it out about a couple of weeks before we traded for willy aybar and finally decided to sign up and join in on your guys discussions. i already knew alot about the rays before i joined this site but i have learned so much more from you guys and your inside information.

i like so many of you have been waiting for the year that this team finally broke out and started winning, and it wouldnt have been as good without being able to share it with you guys.

now lets go beat the red sox one more time and then go beat the phillies (who clinched the NL pennant as i am typing this) in the WS!

I second this

It’s been an awesome year and this is the first site I check for any new Rays info. Lets go boys, 5 more to go!

I agree, I enjoy this site very much

But that first sentence in your second paragraph is the longest sentence mankind has ever seen.

You're obviously not a lawyer

ReasonableDoubt knows what I’m talking about. The other day, I wrote a sentence that was a page and a half long, and a little piece of me died inside.

Vogt early, Vogt often.

Misson almost accomplished

When I started this site, I only dreamed about something like this. In those days being a rays fan was only for those diehards. If TBS mentions LaMar again, or thinks he had much of anything to do with this, i’ll turn it off. Some people question Stu’s gang coming in that it was just more of the same, how were they wrong. The thing we can sit back add enjoy this and many good years to come. This is better than 69 Mets I heard of while growing up in NY. This is what we’ll tell people about for years to come. Where we saw the dream become real. Jake helped me keep the faith and was a great help when the site started. Though I don’t post here much anymore, this site is in my thoughts.
