Coincidences Are Sometimes Hilarious
The Rays dealt Delmon Young (and others) for Matt Garza (and others) in hopes of having three legit starters that would not only help them reach the playoffs, but advance throughout.
Jon Lester has owned the Rays everytime except in the playoffs.
Garza and Lester are going to face-off to decide which American League East (also known as the group of death) will head home and host the World Series.
Tonight it's Matt Garza's world, which looks something like this:
via paintings.name
There's something about this team that just feels like somehow tonight is going to end with a champagne bath for Garza.

I'm fine with Garza's arm
It’s his head and the umpire’s strike zone along with the defense behind him that have me a bit nervous

RJ, nefore
you bash my thought, consider this
1- Garza seems affected more by errors than others
2- The defense in Game 5 and 6 has been less than stellar

The defense was amongst the best in the league for 162 games.
You REALLY believe these last two games is more telling of their true talent level than the 162?

The funny thing is that you don't realize you're not a good analyst. Most of the crap you spew is either heavily cliched or intentionally negative.
You must live a miserable life and yet you continue to think of yourself as something amazing. It’s almost like you want to be labeled a rebel, in fact I’m really not sure why I unbanned you after the Rays won the AL East, you still bring nothing to this site and with your ban history you shouldn’t be privileged enough to post here.

The Yankees are gearing up to offer CC Sabathia "an offer that may dwarf those of other clubs, by a factor of 30 or 40 percent." Olney feels that may be a necessary surcharge to convince Sabathia to pitch in the Big Apple.
Cool, we get to face the black good david wells 3-4 times a year.

dont worry
they will spend more money than ever and get the same shitty results out of it.
And they never learn the way of the Rays, to draft early and build from within, instead of throwing money at your problems.
Matt Garza is in the middle of having his 3rd testicle descend. He will be ready in time to win tonight though.

Word on the street is that Milwaukee offered something around 145M
Another 50% would bring it to 217M. I do not see him getting that.

THIS IS THE BOTTOM LINE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know that some of you get upset when posters attempt to back up theory with factual analysis, but please bear with me for just a moment….
ONE GAME….
Nothing else matters. Period. 162 game season, ALDS, 7 game losing streak, home records, road records, Thursday night or Saturday night. NOTHING MATTERS BUT SUNDAY. Win or lose, this team has picked themselves up off the mat time and time again.
ONE GAME….
All of our pitchers are great, but honestly, there is NO ONE ID RATHER HAVE ON THE BUMP TODAY THAN MATTHEW FUCKING GARZA….Dude is borderline…no, dude IS crazy. GARZA against the world, winner take all, mano y mano….I like our chances.
ONE GAME….
TO PROVE ONCE AND FOR ALL THAT WE ARE THE SUPERIOR TEAM…Sox won the wild card for a reason.
ONE GAME….
For a pennant, game 7, all the dice…..if some of you cant let go of the past and get excited and pumped up about the OPPORTUNITY OF A LIFETIME FOR THIS TEAM, I ask……..WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN THE PAST 10 YEARS?
But we true fans already know the answer to that one, now dont we?
ONE GAME………..GIVE EM HELL BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
