meh.
Peter Gammons used to be good, but it seems recently all he’s done suck off the Red Sox. Probably picking Phillies because he’s pissed at the team that beat his.
Actually that's the assumption
Gammons is a writer for the Boston Globe and has already admitted he was a diehard Sox fan several times.
And I already checked
Three of her allotment of 4 were already accounted for otherwise I would have been here trying to coordinate things.
Sweet
I’ll just need to find a way to get there, I’ve done it 6 times already

The mouthpiece for the Red Sox has every right to be wrong
If Law and Neyer are in agreement on something it is as good as fact.
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
uh-oh, the experts are now picking the Rays? we're screwed
Peter Gammons is an awesome reporter and baseball insider. He’s just not a good analyst (and not just because of his Red Sox impartiality.) If you look at him in that slant, he’s a good guy. The same goes for Buster Olney and many of that ilk — they’re reporters, not analysts.
Beyond the Boxscore // Calling BJ Upton lazy is lazy.
One thing that bothers me about "the world leader" is that
if they are reporters, they should wait until something happens and then report it. Many times they go with unfounded rumors as truth, run a story, and end up wrong. Stick to what happened, not what might happen.

Amazing how NOBODY had the Phillies making the World Series
yet all but one of them picked the Phillies to go to the NLCS.

I had to stay away the last couple of nights
It’s been quite the bender the last couple of weeks.
On a side note me and a Sox fan have been going back and forth at my bar since the ALDS and last night he conceded defeat by giving me a trophy in the form of his 2004 Manny Ramirez jersey. I asked for Pedroia’s head, but this seems more appropriate. We’re going to be talking about this series in about 50 years think about that.

Also never underestimate the power of a bandwagon with a shit-load of momentum.
ESPN is the worst man. At least they try to be impartial about college football.
Dude, the National League has been the Major League's 'little league' for at least the last 2 years
The AL crushed the NL universally in interleague play this year. The only AL teams with sub-.500 records in interleague were the Indians and the Jays. The only NL teams with better-than-.500 records in interleague were the Mets, Braves, Reds, and Rockies.
Phiadelphia went 4-11 in interleague play. They lost every interleague series they played in. The got Toronto, Boston, and the Angels at home and managed to win exactly 2 of those games, then they went on the road and got railroaded against the likes of the A’s and the Rangers. The Rays won their season series against every single one of those teams. The Rays are clearly a better team than the Phillies, and anybody who is picking the Phils without explaining how they’re going to overcome the fact that they played in a division where 12 of their wins came off the worst team in baseball and another 14 wins off the Braves, who would have finished last in any of the AL divisions is not really picking the Phillies, they’re picking against the Rays.
