Also, Zobrist? Seriously?

If Zob and Price are in the game at the same time, whose Jesus power do the Rays feed off of?

MVP: Garza

He’s going to do something wacky to inspire the team to play better. My best guess is a hot-foot to Longo.

Whats with the Zobrist thing?

Has the lineup been posted anywhere?

I think Joe likes that he is a switch hitter

Hamels has reverse-platoon numbers. We may see a few of our switch hitters bat lefty against him. If that is the case me want Nando.

Nando's best chance to start was tonight.

In Philly Maddon will almost definitely hold him as as pinch runner.

Game 1 Drinking game

1 shot if:

- References to catwalks
- References to astroturf
- McCarver butchers a player’s name
- A guest commentator comes in the booth for an inning and gives more insight than Joe and Tim do the entire game
- Credits to Chuck Lamar
- Lauds to Joe Maddon for benching BJ Upton for being lazy
- Complaints about attendance during the season

Take a sip if:

- Joe Buck calls an exciting play extremely flat, like nothing happened
- McCarver tells a story that has no relation to the game whatsoever
- Tim McCarver laughs at his own joke
- References to “Big Game James”
- Buck makes a comment condescending towards fans watching the game

This is guaranteed to get you drunk, even if you do it with beer.

by RaysOfHope on Oct 22, 2008 6:11 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

I far from understand the way Maddon thinks (I'm not that smart)

but if I had to guess, the reason Rocco isn’t in the line-up is the way he struggled with Lester’s change-up and Hamels’ change up is better than Lester’s.
