I far from understand the way Maddon thinks (I'm not that smart)

but if I had to guess, the reason Rocco isn’t in the line-up is the way he struggled with Lester’s change-up and Hamels’ change up is better than Lester’s.

I doubt/hope (knock on wood) Balfour didn’t forget how to pitch, Boston just had his number.
