Maddon needs to get Aybar & Hinske in the starting line up for Game 5!

Why not? Aybar has been swinging a hot bat & Hinske could provide a nice spark plug to the line up & more discipline at the plate. Longoria & Pena are just plain struggling right now. I think the pressure of being in the World Series has gotten to these young Rays. I would try to shake some things up for Game 5 vs. Cole Hamels. It would be nice if we could atleast push this series to 6 or 7 games. I say inserting Aybar & Hinske into the starting line up is worth the gamble.

Aybar? Yes. Hinske? No way

Play Aybar or Perez (preferred) in right. The only regular I’d “consider” benching would be Aki.

wow, talk about a SSS

Hinske had 1 AB and he pulled Dan Johnson (well except his HR didn’t lead to a win)

Fucking NL…..I would like to see Aybar at DH tomorrow :(

How about this line up for game 5?

I say shake up the line up & see if we can get something started & get out of this funk.

Upton – CF ( lead him off & see if he can get on base with his speed)
Zobrist – SS ( if Upton gets on, good contact hitter, or lay down the damn bunt)
Crawford- LF ( swinging the bat better than Pena & Longoria right now atleast)
Aybar – 1B ( his bat is hot right now, give him a shot a clean up! what the hell?!)
Hinske – RF ( good patient hitter & works the count)
Longoria – 3B ( try him at a different spot in the order, maybe it will get him going)
Navarro – C ( have to leave him in the line up)
Iwamura – 2B (if Iwamura can ger on base, Kazmir can bunt him over)
Kazmir – P ( advance the runner damn it!, so BJ can knock him in)

What the hell? Try it! What do we have to lose other than the WS?

We should do this! Get a little crazy! If it doesn’t work, oh damn well. We still had one hell of a year & we are AL East champs & American League champs!

I say use the pre injury lineup that we did so well with for so long

If Aybar knew RF well, I would want him there, but I don’t even want to imagine us winning late and Willy making an error

2B Iwamura
LF Crawford
CF Upton
3B Longoria
1B Pena
C Navarro
RF Baldelli
SS Bartlett
P Kazmir
