Now starting in right field...Magglio Ordonez?

Sadly this is a bit premature and not wanting to take anything away from an 'anything-but-normal World Series, but it was reported on mlbtraderumors.com so I thought I'd pass along the info.

Lynn Henning of the Detroit News is reporting that the Tigers will have to seriously consider unloading Maggs in order to have the payroll to address their offseason needs.  Tim Dierkes of mlbtraderumors believes the Rays would be one of three teams interested in the rightfielder (Phillies and Reds were the other two possiblities he speculated).

The question is, what would you be willing to give up for him?  Would he be a good fit?  He's a bit pricey...3 years left and 48 mil remaining on his contract...although there is belief that the Tigers would be willing to eat some of the salary to get some decent prospects in return.  They need bullpen help, shortstop and catcher.  The Rays need to hoard their bullpen arms, are pretty thin at catcher and have reid brignac waiting in the wings.

Brignac seems like to high a price to give up for a 35 year old outfielder, regardless of how good he is. (esp note injury history)  What about a Edwin Jackson/Jeff Niemann and Shawn Riggans deal, provided the Tigers eat about 5mil/season of his contract?  What do you think?
