I'm torn on this match-up. Kazmir is a fly ball pitcher versus a homerun team, but he gets a ton of swinging strikes and the Sox give them away like lollipops at the doctor's office.

Platoon splits show they are slightly better against lefties than righties:
The sample is quite a bit smaller and Scotty isn’t your average lefty, but it could mean that if he does struggle, we might not be as likely to see Price, whom throws with the same hand and has similar pitches. If that is the case I do not know who to recommend for long relief so lets hope the problem does not present itself. One idea might be to have Sonny finish up if the game is tight and Kaz is just PC maxed, then have Price step into Sonny’s spot as the #4 or alternatively have Shields pitch again.
