Trop Song ID???
What's the "oh oh oh oh oh" song they've played the last two nights in about the 8th inning?
For the Mohawks: My son and I both got mohawks for ALDS Game 1. I kept it for G2, but not sure after that. I'm a teacher and my students loved it!
Beautiful 2 nights at the Trop! Still need 1 more, but I'm going back and forth Angels or Sox? I think I'd rather play the Angels. Spending 4 more nights of quality time with Sox fans does not sound fun

I hope they stick with this
It has the potential to sound awesome when everyone gets into it.

Am I really?
I hate that dudes voice, and their chick drummer thinks she’s playing Guitar Hero World Tour. On an unrelated note, both of them look like they’ve been hit in the face with shovels.

Slash thinks you're wrong...sort of
From the Interwebnet thingy…
Former GUNS N’ ROSES star SLASH has slammed the new generation of guitar players, insisting he is the last of the “identifiable” icons of rock ‘n’ roll. The legendary rocker is convinced having a decent guitar player who stands out is one of the main necessities for any band. But the 42-year-old is saddened by modern music as he feels new bands focus too much on the frontman and don’t concentrate on finding good guitarists. He says, “It’s sad. There’s no identifiable guitar players in rock ‘n’ roll any more. With the exception of (White Stripes star) Jack White – who is great – the new breed of bands aren’t bringing out decent guitarists. "Rock ‘n’ roll is so diluted in this millennium, you just don’t hear good solos. And I hate emo (mainstream soft-core punk).”

Jack White is probably my favorite guitar player among active musicians.
I don’t know any drummers that don’t love Meg; she’s awesome in a way a lot of people don’t really seem to appreciate.
And Meg is a total babe. I have no idea what you’re talking about.

I'll give you this though
Most of the music played at the Trop I can’t stand. I hate the fight song with equal ferocity.

Thanks, man! Time to visit I-Tunes. It’s a sweet tune. The White Stripes are in that category of groups I feel like I should like, but have never gotten into.
Wish I could find an Mp3 of “Feel The Heat Rays” by Living Under Venus, but I’ve had to settle for recording it off the net and editing it to make it sound halfway decent. We cranked it on the way to the Trop yesterday. It’s also in the background of all of the TBS video clips on MLB.com

More On Seven Nation Army
I’ve listened to the White Stripes version and it doesn’t have the “oh oh oh oh oh oh oh” chorus. Either that’s our boy Pigman singing along or it’s a cover version they’re playing. Any insights?

Cover version by Audioslave has the "Oh" part.

Also because they chant the "oh" at Euro soccer games
I hope it becomes a regular during games so people catch on.

I believe Rusty was leading it over the microphone
So, for now, they’re trying

It's the Seven Nation Army version
In the stadium, they are adding the Ohs extraneously.

Huh?
why did my comment get deleted? Can’t handlethe truth that Rays Index is responsible for this song. Good thing I didn’t log in under my regular handle. Wouldn’t want to get banned.

hahahaha
they deleted your comment because you properly credited cork for being the driving force for getting this song played at the trop?
That’s hilarious. What is RJ so scared of?

I didn't delete it.
However our mod policy is to delete links to sites we don’t like to prevent blog wars. I don’t think he would appreciate the vulgarity shot in his direction by a few of our users in the past, just as I don’t when it happens on his site. That’s all I’m going to say on that.
