San Francisco Rays Fans?
I recently moved out to San Francisco (I always call it the other Bay area, which seems to really annoy be here), and I know it's a long shot.....but if there any other fans around this site who live out here and want to get together at a bar or something and watch the game, I would be up for that. It's just not quite as much fun running around my apartment yelling with all my Rays gear on by myself.

SF Rays Fans
I wish I had more to tell you about what I’m going to say…but.. I know there are Rays fans in SF because…… the lady who designed my website lives in SF and she always updates me about Jeff Baisley who plays for Oakland and I played with him in HS. Having said that, she says alot of SF Giants fans are jumping on the Rays ship and showing up though in some Oakland bars? Maybe they don’t want to be traitors in there own town? FYI, that’s all I know
You know
if not for H. Wayne Huizenga, you’d still be a Giants fan. He vetoed their attempt to move to St. Pete in 1992.
I'm laughing at the superior intellect.
Hmmm
I could have sworn it was Bill White who blocked the move. RJ would know – he wrote a damn book on it.
Vogt early, Vogt often.
Hmm
Someone misquoted this New York Times article as saying Huizenga blocked the move. Apparently someone blocked the move because they promised that the Marlins would have Florida “for the forseeable future”.
I'm laughing at the superior intellect.
Many people on McCovey Chronicles, your sister blog on SBN, support the Rays. I’d bet some people from the blog would be game for a gathering. If you like, I can see about organizing something.
Speaking of the “Bay Area” confusion, I was in Tampa in late August and thoroughly confused when I heard people referring to the local area as “the Bay Area.” I was like, wait, I left the Bay Area to come here!
"While conservatives tell you 'leave things alone and no one will lose,' and liberals tell you 'interfere a lot and no one will lose,' baseball says 'someone will lose.' Not only says it - but insists upon it! ... Democracy is lovely, but baseball's more mature." BVCE supports SF Dugout and Manny Burriss.

hey
sorry Mike, I didn’t see you replied. I live on Nob Hill, looking for a place to go this afternoon to watch the game. I have MLB radio, but no TBS…..know any good bars?
