is there room on the bandwagon?

Long Suffering Cubs fan and I can't take it anymore.....The Cubs are an incurable disease. 100 Years of Losing....You guys only have 10!

Please Help?  Can I jump on The Bandwagon? I will root hard against the sox tonite ( I am good at that)

I go to games (ok, ill go to the games against the sox, but those count)

I know that the Rays will make the Series before the Cubs...

Just like the Marlins, DBacks,Rockies...

GO RAYS

Relax, all right? Don't try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic. Crash Davis

Another longtime Cub fan here....lived in Tampa area since 1995...

…and I have officially sworn off the Cubs forever.

I have attended Rays games from time to time…going back to 1999.

Anyone mind if I switch my loyalties from now on?

Let my ashes blow in a beautiful snow from the prevailing 30 mile an hour southwest wind...
When my last remains go flying over the left field wall, I'll bid the bleacher bums adieu,
And I will come to my final resting place, out on Waveland Avenue. --Steve Goodman

Shhhhhhhhh

Go Sonics…..oh wait.
Ummmm…….Go Blazers.

Too bad I hate the NBA.

The Beavs did (hopefully) kill USC’s BCS chances.
The Seahawks can still turn it around. God bless the NFC west! That’s about all I’ve got.

No we can't...

Although I’m inclined to think that your decision may not stick once the Cubs sign their first big name in the offseason.

Sort of Bandwagon Fan

I’m a Vandy fan so wherever DP goes, I go. And as a baseball fan I love Jame Shields and as a Mets fan have a forbidden love for Scott Kazmir. Go Rays.

I commented on freehotdogs’ post about being a (Tampa) Bay Area transplant to the (San Francisco) Bay Area about how McCovey Chronicles, the Giants’ blog here on SBN, supports the Rays. I say, with great confidence, that Giants fans are on this bandwagon as well. I know I am.

"While conservatives tell you 'leave things alone and no one will lose,' and liberals tell you 'interfere a lot and no one will lose,' baseball says 'someone will lose.' Not only says it - but insists upon it! ... Democracy is lovely, but baseball's more mature." BVCE supports SF Dugout and Manny Burriss.

When a team is built from the ground up the right way, full of exciting young players, it’s a good thing. It’s what we want to see and what we wish our teams could be.

cleveland indians fan here

you can add us to your bandwagon

you knocked out the white sox and embarrassed ozzie guillen. now you have a chance to crush the hearts of the most obnoxious fanbase in all of sports. i assure you, indians fans are pretty much 100% on the bandwagon at this point..

ever since last year’s ALCS, it’s been rough going as an indians fan. tough to see your team choke away a 3-1 lead, only to start out the next year poorly, trade away your ace and team leader, and spend the rest of the season in irrelevance. so yeah, i’ll be living vicariously through you guys for the next couple of weeks :)

BTW it seems like this place is pretty well sabermetrically-inclined. good stuff—letsgotribe.com is the same way—always good to find well-informed fans.

the indians will be good again next year

they have to tweak their bullpen, getting a healthy hafner and martinez and carmona will definetly make you guys much better, so when is matt laporta going to be ready? mid 2009?

came back over to see what it looked like

at a blog for a team still playing. Enjoy the ride guys…. best of luck to you against the BoSox. Should be a fun series. btw: thanks for taking care of the White Sox. I don’t think I would have been able to put up with the Sox fans up here if they advanced to the ALCS after my Cubs got swept.
