They're going to come back with a vengence next season.
Luckily, we should have a whole year of Longoria, a healthy BJ, a significantly better CC, Garza should be better and Price will out pitch Jackson. So hopefully we can finish with a similar record with the uptick in competition.

Destiny Be With You
Some here in the other corner of America compare you to the ‘95 M’s. But I think this only applies to the general storyline. Though we sucked about twice as long before getting it going.
We had Randy Johnson and precious little else of note for a pitching staff. Bosio and Belcher? We had a high scoring offense, but it was an Earl Weaver offense that relied on the bomb. Good pitching can deal with that in a short series as Cleavland showed. You also have a more balanced offense, a better overall defense, more depth and a FAR better ‘pen. We didn’t even have a Big League pen.
You guys can do it.
Think of how good it will feel to make Chowd Nation cry. Their tears will taste so sweet.

The Rays are the only reason I’m still following baseball right now, they’re easily the best story and the most fun team to watch this year, so I’m hardcore on the bandwagon for the next few weeks. Mets fan here
I’ve had the Rays as my adopted AL team since March when I picked them to win, er, 85 games (people thought I was nuts even for that prediction). What they’ve done this season is the coolest story baseball has had in years (since the 1969 Mets, maybe?) and it would become even cooler if they knocked off the New Evil Empire.

But next year Q will return, and the White Sox will have revenge. =)
Mainly I wanted to say congrats and just throw some jabs. You guys have a great team and would love to see them do some damage.
Salute!!!!!
