LAST CHANCE TICKET E-MAIL
Friendly ALCS ticket update.
Everyone who entered the lottery should check their email because there was a "Last Chance Ticket Sale" email that went out this morning and remaining seats were being offered. The sale started at 4PM and goes till 11:59PM.
I got 2 in section 305 Row-T for game 2!!! Less than 1 minute wait time.
Don't let the Sux fans pepper themselves all over The Pit!!!
Need 3 more words to fit for a FanPost.

i hope they do this for game 2 because i need 1.
btw for game 2 if i get a single ill be standing in the “bar stool” area in left field. if anyone else gets a single and wants someone to hang out with ill be over there.

So where did these tickets come from?
Are these the ones the Rays hung onto for the folks who opted-in for season tix next year?
And… will this happen again tomorrow for Game 2? (since I’m not able to find any for it now, yet am still able to find some for Game 1, which I’ll already be at)

Held Back Tickets
The team is holding back a bunch of tickets for each game. They are for people who buy the season ticket packages, VIPs, the Red Sox, and MLB. The tickets that dont get claimed are released to the public throughout game day. You will most likely be able to get tickets for tomorrow at the box office before the game tomorrow night.

RAYSBASEBALL.COM IS STILL SELLING SINGLE SEATS FOR GAME 1 and 2
They don’t have any 2 seats together but they do have a few single seats apparently, for face value.

this is such busllsht. i won that lottery thing for the opportunity to buy a ticket but it said sold out. i never got a second chance notice. if it was sold out, how are they selling more tickets?
by walkoffwalk on Oct 10, 2008 4:32 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
the initial lotto was sold out in about 5 minutes
the people that were not in the initial lotto had a chance at a “second chance lotto”. At pretty much the same time all the tickets go on sale on ticket master. By all those tickets I mean the ones the Rays were holding for season ticket deposits and the tickets that were declined due to bad credit cards.
