It would be hilarious

if Boston failed epically in 2009, and Crisp led the Royals to win the AL East.

As long as the Rays sweep them out of the playoffs.

What if we shell him, though

Optimistically

Anyway, as I was lying in the puddle, I think I may have found
a way for us to get Bonds and Griffey, and we wouldn't have to give up
that much.

I'm no Crisp fan...

but isn’t he above average defensively in CF? Also his OBP is around .350 which isn’t too horrendous. It seems like a good trade for KC, they will need good D up the middle to win in 09.

Plus, winning mentality.

When that’s being applied to Coco Crisp, you pretty much know it’s bull.

Do I remember correctly...

He wanted to be traded before ‘08 started because he wasn’t going to play everday?

I heard he said that

when he sits on the bench his yeast infection gets inflamed.

Anyway, as I was lying in the puddle, I think I may have found
a way for us to get Bonds and Griffey, and we wouldn't have to give up
that much.

I am not sure but ...

I am pretty sure they were only after them when their trades for Toucan Sam and Tony the Tiger fell thru and they saw Diggem the Sugar Smacks frog as being overvalued.

Sorry I couldnt resist.

CoCo Crisp is one former Indian I will never stick up for. He was a douchenozzle in Cleveland and he is a douchenozzle to this day. Hopefully him and Pierzynski get a chance to go at it this year … I am putting money on AJ pulling some of his weave out.

UFC: Crisp v. Miguel Olivo: "Winning Mentality"

With special appearances from Gary Sheffield, Jose Guillen, A.J. Pierzynski, and Ozzie Guillen.

Now showing, on PPV.

Wait. Not on PPV.

Just somewhere that people can see it.

I know that's a pisser, baby.

So heres a scenario for you guys

We are talking to the Royals about Butler/Mahay/Somebody and to work out the final parts of the deal, they offer to send us Crisp. Think the Rays would ever take him?

I certainly wouldn’t, all his value comes from his defense in CF and he would be a RF for us.

by joeybw on Nov 20, 2008 1:52 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

i hate coco, but he would be an upgrade in RF and he does have some nice speed

but if they want him, you cant have aki, shields, and cc any where close to him or else you might get a thrown down

everything Rays,Marlins,Twins and Reds
