The Rays Winning the ALE Was Insane
More so than originally imagined. Check out BP's adjusted standings page BP's adjusted standings page and look at "W3" -- third order wins, which, as explained is:
W3, L3 ("Third-order wins"): Pythagenport wins and losses, based on AEQR and AEQRA.
Adjusted runs derived from EqA for/against. Here's the totals for the ALE division:
Boston 102.1
Tampa 97
Toronto 92
New York 91.3
Baltimore 73.7
Only one other team in the entire league (Cubs) had 90+ third-order wins, the American League East had four teams alone. Group of death indeed. Thanks to Bendix for pointing this out to me.

Really
You probably know off the top of you head, what % of our games do we play against ALE? With the unbalanced schedule, it makes last year even more impressive. And of course, next year even more difficult.
