The Rays have more pressing needs (see DH, RF, and another dependable late-inning arm), but it is rare to have a talented arm such as Peavy available. Some of the Rays movable parts are theoretically going to be used to find a young up-and-coming RF or power bat in RF...which is better for the Rays--a E-Jax, Niemann, Brignac trade for a RF or Peavy? Would your answer change if the Rays had to substitute Niemann for Wade Davis?
