He's not flashy, but he'd likely be cheap and better than he looks in front of the Rays defense. The Twins didn't give him any help in his brief time there last year, but his numbers suggest he can be effective with a good defense behind him. Bullpen depth is, IMO, top priority for the '09 club.
And, to complete the minimum word requirement: sign Brian Shouse to complete the submariner Wonder Twins. Form of...groundball!
