ditto about the excitment
I believe I read they will have the DSL’s playoffs or at least the championship game along with other leagues as well and a Sat. night game of the week. Jan and Feb are the worst months to be baseball addicts and this channel is definitely a god send. Hopefully they can up the quality of the current NHL,NBA networks and definitely with their newest addition have a shot at having as good of a studio show as I believe the NFL one is. And just for MLBnetworkbation they could just steal TNT’s NBA studio guys and make it worth watching hourly lol.
IF only Harry Carey could be arounde for Kosuke.

I'm lovin MLB Network too but one thing I question
is why they launch the Network on a day dominated by College bowl games….

I shouldn't have started a new fanshot about this
but is the MLB network going to be offered on Brighthouse? I tried to call them and I spoke with a woman who quite possibly is suffering from some sort of mental disability. I weep for her but my question remains…

From what I understand it is.
I thought that what was going to set MLB Network apart from NBA & NFL channels is that it will be apart of a base cable package not and premium package…I dont remember where I read this though.

I believe this is in the agreement that MLB made with the Cable networks.
It’s a little convoluted, it looks like the providers placed MLB on a basic tier in exchange for offering the extra-innings package and a small slice of ownership in the network.
