Pena wins Gold Glove
So does Michael Young, so I'm not sure if it really matters. Still.

Barty should of won SS
Hell, Jeter may of been a better choice than Young.
At least Pena won, I thought we would get completely robbed and Youkilis would of won 1B.

I thought Jeter and Young were the same guy except different ages
Once Young masters the jump throw and the unnecessary dive into the 3rd row he’ll be a perennial GG’er

It is impossible these days
For below average hitters to win the Gold Glove.

Travis Lee says "yes."
The Rays lost the World Series to bad umpires, Mother Nature, and the Philadelphia Phillies.

He could not water if he fell out of a boat
but man could he play some defense.

Did you ever see Lee take BP?
He’s crush the ball further in one BP swing than he would in 4 in-game swings.

Yes.......
which made it somewhat depressing when he would go 0-4.

Which is why he got paid so much money to play baseball. He had absurd amounts of talent, just not the ability to translate it into games. I hate tools busts. They hurt my heart.

I am amazed to see this.
I interned with the Rays during the ’05 season and would tell everyone then (and anyone who cares now) that absolutely no one could hit BP like Travis Lee. It was incredible.

Travis Lee volunteered at my middle school.
He was a real cool guy. I always wished he hadn’t sucked so bad.

My biggest complain is obviously Bartlett
not only was he great but Young was terrible but Aki also has a case over Pedoria. Can’t argue the 3B one though, Beltre is a vaccum over there. And Tori Hunter…..is he gonna keep winning til he retires just because he used to be one of, if not the best defensive OF’s in the game.
Awards should have been
P – Mussina (I dunno much about defensive pitchers but he won it so I will just assume they didn’t mess that one up)
1B – Pena
2B – Iwamura
SS – Bartlett
3B – Beltre
OF – Gomez
OF – Ichiro
OF – Sizemore
Pedoria winning at 2B isn’t that terrible so my only real complaint is Young and I would of given it to the Gomez or maybe one of the assist leaders(Markakis, Upton) instead of Hunter.

Mark Ellis says "Hi."
Iwamura was average second.

I think he was above average
but yes, Ellis would of been a better choice than Pedoria
