I am sticking with Moore til he wins
even though McGee and Barnese are also good choices here.

Ditto
I realize McGee has more upside, but there’s a decent chance he’ll never recover to what he was, and it’s not as if he looked great this year before he got hurt either.

Yep
I think he can be a potential closer, but can’t put him over a guy who has a chance to make an impact at the major league level year.

Mcgee
Brad Ziegler had a scoreless inning streak. Brad Ziegler had not met BJ Upton.

Niemann
He has the pedigree (former first round pick), the stuff (from a 6’9 pitcher), and he put it all together at AAA last year. He was relatively better last year at AAA than Perez was, and McGee is what Niemann was two years ago: injured and full of uncertainty. He’s the same age as Perez, and tall pitchers generally take a little longer to develop. Throw in the injuries, and he is “younger” in development than the number on his birth certificate implies. I almost went him over Jennings, but I love Jennings upside.
Niemann was a top 100 prospect last year and improved. Just because we’ve heard his name forever it seems he is undervalued by the fans.

Neither Niemann nor Moore gives me heartburn here
I have trouble ranking McGee higher than 11th at this point though. TJ surgery isn’t really routine, and for as often as guys come back at 100, there are as many guys who come back only at 90. Specifically, if McGee is having elbow issues, I fear that his curve won’t be as effective after he comes back, and he already relied too much on the fastball.
