I'm changing up my vote, a hitter needs to win
Nando.

If that's the tack you take
Then we’ll see a lot of crappy hitters on the list just for the sake of getting hitters on the list. I voted Nando too, as I have for the last few polls, but after Jaso, there’s a STEEP drop in the level of position players relative to pitchers. If we go to top 40 or top 50, I wouldn’t be too surprised if 2/3 of the players on the list are pitchers.

IMO
Jaso is the next best hitter, but Perez is a close second. Even that being said, I dont think either is better than Barnese and Moore.
I must admit, Im pretty supised the injury prone guys (Niemann, McGee) are getting more love than the young guys (Moore, Barnese).

Moore
Went Matt Moore here, hopefully he can turn out like Jake McGee without the injury woes (not saying McGee wont turn out, but its undisputable that injuries have slowed his development mightily). I wouldn’t mind Barnese at this spot either.
I usually like guys who are close, but I still thinks its early for Nando, let Moore and Barnese get on first. Jaso is interesting and reports of improved defense at catcher are definatley reassuring.
Oh, I also have a Reid Fronk mancrush so after these 5(Moore/Barnese/Nando/Jaso/Talbot) get on (in that order) then all of my love for reid fronk is going to show in this here poll

It's Barnese.
Brad Ziegler had a scoreless inning streak. Brad Ziegler had not met BJ Upton.

John Jaso
Only prospect that could hit decent in the Majors at this moment.
Moore is the next best player.

You honestly don't think Perez could hit decent in the majors at this moment?

Lefties. He could hit lefties decently.
Righties would eat him for lunch. He cannot hit lefthanded at the big league level at this moment.

How has no one put this song to Perez highlights yet?
His home plate shuffle in the minors, his chest-first dash into the bench against the Sox in the ALDS…you could make it work.
