Cubs sign Joey Gathright
The Cubs have an interesting dilema now with Pie and Gathright. I love Gathright for his speed, but Fernando is better because of his speed and bat.

anyone think this is could be a decent move??
I remember it was fun to have doug glanville on the team (cubs) to pinch run and joey can run over cars and t-bag first basemen, but even by taking all of joe magranes advice (bunting every fourth at bat) his obp is still horrible and he is at best a journeymen base stealer, I just can’t see this doing anything for the Cubs, but then again it’s Reed Johnson and Kosuke in center this year…
IF only Harry Carey could be arounde for Kosuke.
