You forgot Lebron.

Anyway, as I was lying in the puddle, I think I may have found a way for us to get Bonds and Griffey, and we wouldn't have to give up that much.

Who knows...

but it seems most teams are looking at 2010 (ex/ knicks) but the Cavs and LBJ are looking to win now.

No significant Rays then, either

if options are picked up. Not sure about Grant Balfour though – does he have two more years left or one more year? I thought he was going into ARB3.

Vogt early, Vogt often.

I would like to believe that the Rays Front Office knows all of this

And who will likely be available in ‘11. That sort of foresight helps when they are creating a roster so that they will know where the weak markets will be in a year or two. Think that’s why they only signed Floyd and Hinske to 1 year deals?

I could be wrong though

What are the numbers on Uggla? any chance by 2010 we can let Aki walk and trade a couple pitchers for him

Uggla plays on a 3 foot chain. Metrics aside

he covers as much ground as a blanket at the beach.

Anyway, as I was lying in the puddle, I think I may have found a way for us to get Bonds and Griffey, and we wouldn't have to give up that much.

im really not interested in anyone from the 2010 free agent class

we have most of our team set for 2010 and will probably only need minor adjustments, like bench depth and maybe a reliever or 2, depending on how things go for our pitching prospects and the relievers we have on our staff right now

everything Rays,Marlins,Twins and Reds
who needs k-rod for 37 million when you can have d-rod for 50k?
twins sign ty wigginton ASAP!!!!

A few guys that interest me:

Khalil Greene, John McDonald, Marco Scutaro, and Brian Roberts.

Brob will likely get too much money/years for us, but the other three could be intriguing for 2B depending on Aki.
