On Bobby Abreu
Boy it's nice to be able to just sit and wait for the lowest-price option for DH to come along and still know that they'll be a great addition isn't it? I mean, we could have Abreu, Bradley, Dunn, Burrell, Giambi....I would be happy with just about any of them. And we're gonna get one of the last ones available who is desperate for a job at a major discount. I<3RFO

Abreu refuses to be cheap
His 3yr/48M asking price is so high that nobody will even try to negotiate. Personally, I don’t care how far down he comes, I don’t want him.
I dunno
I want at least one of the original Rays back. If we can’t sign him, I want Quentin McCracken.
Vogt early, Vogt often.
DiFelice wasn't enough last year?
Be careful what you wish for. I’m looking at you, Miguel Cairo.
On the other hand, Randy Winn!
Milton Bradley is the best option
He can actually get a base hit if he wanted to.

I'd be happy with Abreu or Bradley
Both hit lefties as well as righties, both hit good pitching, both have some outfield flexibility, both have been extremely consistent, both would be perfect for this team. One is four years older, but is much more durable. You really couldn’t lose with either guy.

Bradley's injury risk really scares me
I like that his rates are better, but he seems to be hurt at the end of every season, which means he’d be out when we need him most. I’d probably rather have someone I can probably count on being around for the playoffs.
Vogt early, Vogt often.
Abreu...
…has a good bat, but is somewhat of an adventure in the field, especially near the wall…Bradley is a troublemaker a la Young or Dukes…give me ROCCO!
Put me in a special school...
