Angels will not pursue Abreu, Dunn or Burrell
This looks like good news for us:
(trying to get to 75 words long)
From mlbtr.com
Angels GM Tony Reagins told Mike DiGiovanna of the L.A. Times Wednesday that his club is "not likely" to retain outfielder Garret Anderson. Reagins also mentioned that the organization has no plans to pursue free agent outfielders Adam Dunn, Bobby Abreu or Pat Burrell. Reagins, of course, had already written off the idea of the Halos inking Manny Ramirez.

Awesome
Only bad thing is, at least during the season they owned the Yankees and Red Sox, now they wont be as good.
However, all are targets are safe from them! Even…..Manny.
Keep living the pipe dream until he signs elsewhere.

"no plans to pursue"
All that means is that they’re doing the same thing we are, and aren’t going to try pursuing them until their prices come down.
Vogt early, Vogt often.
Just on the subject
On a separate topic, anyone like Felix Pie? I think he will have a much better bat than Nando, certainly has more potential. No options, Cubs need to trade him.
Anyone want him?

no room for pie.
haha i couldnt resist. where would we play him?
everything Rays,Marlins,Twins and Reds
who needs k-rod for 37 million when you can have d-rod for 50k?
twins sign ty wigginton ASAP!!!!
Just thinking of small parts
Nando in AAA, Pie with all the talent in the world and never given a chance, 4th OF and if he gets hot, he can platoon with Joyce

Better bat, worse defense
Certainly a lot more potential, but still a higher chance of flaming out. I used to like Pie a lot, but I feel like he’s kinda Guzman’d out.
