Add Dodgers to the list of Dunn's suitors
Is this a power-play on Boras and Man-Ram? I'm not happy with more teams entering the Dunn chase, but this may force Manny or the Cubs' hands a bit sooner.
Add Abreu as well. LINK

I want to scream posturization here again.
Either MaNnYw00d is a Dodger or he’s in pinstripes.
"And you just don't get it, you keep it copacetic..."
Seriously, where else could he go?
He’s not going back to Boston, and no other team is going to pay him enough.
And, if the Yankees get Manny, the market will become even more supersaturated
as the Yanks try to move one of their OF/DHs.
"And you just don't get it, you keep it copacetic..."
perhaps washington?
they were in the Teixiera sweepstakes and could move Willingham to 1st if need be, and trade Kearns, and go with probably the most gangster OF in the league of Dukes,Milledge and Manny
MLB-Rays,Marlins,Twins, and Reds
NFL-Vikings,Lions(i know Shut up),texans, and Bills
NBA-Timberwolves(also shut up),Cavilers(bye bye LeBron in '10)
NHL- Wild and Penguins
College-Gophers,Gators,Longhorns and Irish.
all of the above mentioned teams are in order by my favorites
I can see it happening
but 1 thing stands in the way, Bowden’s love for players he used to have, Adam Dunn is a more likely signing
Evan Longoria and David Price - the fight for my heart
Manny would never go there by choice
Even if Wash pays him the most someone will pay him somethign close enough not to go there
Even if someone in Wash tried to convince Manny that the Nats were on the upswing and close to competing he wouldnt believe you. Because he’s Manny. Manny needs results. And Washington hasnt been getting them
Manny really seems like the kind of guy who would sign for the highest bidder
What I’d bet is more likely to happen, he signs with Washington for the most money, then about 1/2way through the first season when the team is sucking, he acts like an ass and demands a trade.
Still dont see the Bradley love
This man only had 2 of 9 seasons where he had more than 400 ABs. Remember what the Rays went through with Rocco. If not, how about Grant Hill and the Magic. Give me Burrell or Abreu.
If that is the choice
I will take the younger, cheaper, leftie mashing Burrell please.
Evan Longoria and David Price - the fight for my heart
The lack of fear comes from the fact that Bradley would have to be extremely injury prone to only be good for 400AB a year for multiple years as a DH
We’re talking worse then Grant Hill. Think more like Juan Gonzalez.
I seriously don’t know how anybody could possibly want Abreu when his inital contract demands were 3yrs/48M. He’s out of his damned mind.
Still in a good position
I just don’t think the Red Sox are really going after Dunn and I see Manny to Dodgers, Dunn to the Nationals and then
Our target list still has Bradley, Burrell, Giambi, and Abreu
Giambi could very well go to the Athletics
Now I did read yesterday the Cubs can’t spend anymore money but even if they get Bradley, that still leaves us with Burrell who is a great pickup when his D wont matter, the guy crushes lefties. Abreu wouldn’t make me cry either. However, Anderson would have me in tears.
Evan Longoria and David Price - the fight for my heart
I'd assume one of these OF/DH
types will sign as well will the FA closer/bullpen overload
When was it that Ibanez “set” the market for DH’s?
Any chance Manny to A's?
A’s have some money to spend and if the Dodger’s bow out, then his price comes down to 10-15 mil/season. Could the Cubs really put Ramirez in RF? Or leave Soriano in CF and put Ramirez in left and Fukudome in right?
I think LA in Dodger blue if Manny doesn’t except their 2 year offer (probably for less than original offer) or if they think he won’t be motivated if given less money. If LA is out of picture, Chicago or Oakland presents next opportunity. Either way, Rays benefit.

If the Dodgers don't sign Manny
I don’t know who will. It doesn’t seem like anyone wants the guy. They don’t know if he will give it his all since he won’t be playing for a contract.
Manny to A's doesn't make sense
The A’s already have a bad defensive OFer in Cust. He will have the DH spot to his own. The A’s won’t move Holliday to RF and bench an out of options Buck just to have a major defensive downgrade in the OF (if you think Holliday will be good in RF, why wasn’t he in RF for the Rox? Hawpe is a BAD defensive RF).
"And you just don't get it, you keep it copacetic..."
they are also willing to put Abreu in RF
if they sign Abreu, that’s where he would land. I could see Beane swooping in if Ramirez doesn’t end up with any offers, defense be damned.

I disagree
Holliday LF
Abreu RF
Manny DH
Cust 1B?
I think he will keep young, great defensive Barton in the lineup.
Also, they obviously have been willing to spend this off season but Holliday, Abreu AND Manny? I don’t think so.
Evan Longoria and David Price - the fight for my heart
Damn Yankees
The Tex signing really moved the market
Even if there is any truth to this
And I think it is just a way to get Manny to ask for a little less then I still like I haven’t heard many Bradley to Cubs rumors lately and the only Burrell one is a Red Sox one that probably isn’t true.
Evan Longoria and David Price - the fight for my heart
please ignore the grammar
Combo of being tired and marijuana tends to mess that up.
