D Price in ESPN the Mag

If you're bored here's a couple of paragraphs about David Price in ESPN the Magazine. They're doing the ridiculous "Who's NEXT" feature and Price is involved. It mostly talks about how Obama became a fan of his and the maturity he showed for a rookie.

David Price

will end up having a much better career than Matt Ryan. It seems that the voters made their choice by the Falcons’ surprising short-term success.

I wouldn't go that far

Matt Ryan might get MVP votes. He has an argument for the Pro-Bowl. He is GREAT. Who knows how good Price will be over a full season.

I love

how half of the people ESPN claims are “next” are already there, then when they review their picks five years later, they give themselves credit for it. Granted, there are a few guys they hit on before they were actually big (Yao Ming comes to mind, who they profiled as Next two years before he got drafted), but most of them are already successful by the time they’re profiled.
