Jason Giambi Meets With Rays
The Rays apparently moved quickly in the next stage of their information gathering process on candidate to improve their offense, with word around the Bellagio that they met late Monday night with Jason Giambi.
Need proof?

Giambus looks fat
Anyway, as I was lying in the puddle, I think I may have found a way for us to get Bonds and Griffey, and we wouldn't have to give up that much.

well I was trying to figure out how to get images on here and now that Ive figured it out, ill post em all the time. If anyone ever has any ideas, let me know. In all fairness, these are pretty crappy by my standards and it takes me like 10 min. Im actually applying for a job right now with Daktronics over in Clearwater. For those who dont know, they do all of the graphics and animations for sporting events on LED displays (score board, ribbon board, etc).

Well
“who’s next?”
Well according to that link you just gave us, they are meeting with Abreu’s agent in next 24 hours.

More on the meeting
"It does validate a lot of what we’re doing," Friedman said. "He talked about hearing firsthand from our players last year how great things were, and he’s got a relationship with a few of our guys. That certainly helps, and I think the interest is genuine on both sides."
I can’t imagine [Giambi to Oakland is] done, or I don’t think they would have wasted their time or our time," Friedman said today. "I don’t know how it’s going to play out."
And....
Executive VP Andrew Friedman called it “a very good meeting” and said Giambi has "got a lot of the characteristics of a hitter that we like.’’
I have never eaten at Checkers before
It’s some huge chain restaraunt, I know. Is it like a burger place?
Dude. This.
I have no idea
At first I thought it was just something wrong with my account, but then I noticed no one was posting at all and determined something must be wrong. I think you can still reply, but not start a new post. I guess this is our new home for the time being until its fixed.
