To think he would've been good here, but he got greddy, and for that, hes on the team with no future.

Of course, he may be a player with no future as well.

The Marlins have a future now. I can't imagine a situation where a new ballpark could make a bigger difference to a team's outlook. A roof for the rain, close to the fan base, out of that awful park they're in now. But I'd be more concerned about their ownership - I'm just not sure about Loria's MO.

Plus a pretty good young core - pitching injuries have killed them lately - and a nice set of additions from The Trade. Still amazed they moved Cabrera though- clearly they thought his discipline was a problem, but I'm not sure of that. Nobody cuts payroll like the Fish - they are the masters.
