Update on Tampa's favorite Yankee

Had to share this - hope you can find a way to appreciate it. From yankees.com

Duncan earns Dawson Award
Selected as top Yankees rookie in Spring Training

Link to whole story below - including short comment on The Slide - but the finish was the best:

"In conjunction with the award, Duncan received an engraved Burberry watch from William Barthman Jewelers.

"I always need a new watch," Duncan said. "It's funny. You can joke around and say, 'Some people say Spring Training doesn't mean anything.' Well, now it means a watch to me." "

People in NY just love this guy - he's like our Scooby-Doo... or maybe Shaggy. Goofy, but loveable. Or Matthew Lillard (again, Shaggy?) in that movie about the Cape Cod League with Freddie Prinze Jr. ... and Jessica Biel! Summer Catch - thanks Google.

Re: Update on Tampa's favorite Yankee
Okay, the Google link for Jessica Biel had 3 photos at the top. The center one links to a clip from "...Chuck & Larry" with Sandler - haven't seen the movie. Funny scene. Nice butt, amongst other attributes. Can't blame Jeter a bit.
And great picture of The Babe on the wall.

Funny thing about that scene - I actually saw virtually the same thing in real life. Big exception was the guy WAS gay. The female, a friend of my stepdaughter's, is - shall we say - amply endowed. Not 100% natural, but impressive nonetheless. At a party at my daughter's house, the guy - a longtime friend of theirs - was performing a "QC check" like this but more detailed. It was funny then too!

Okay, I'm feeling a little creepy here.

Tampa is in the south, they hate Yankees. Just look at how many schools are named after General Grant. I mean, seriously.
Viva Los RAYniacs!

Re: Update on Tampa's favorite Yankee
Too bad Shelley can't play RF for the Rays.  He'd be battling Gomes for ABs and could plow into Helliot on tweener fly balls to short right.

Seriously he seems like a great team guy when he plays it clean.

Grat's

I found the only player in the league I would prefer Gomes to.
