Tampa: 'This is the place to be.'
Interesting article: Looks like Baltimore is gearing up for the slaughter fest starting next week, or so we hope

Either way,
Looks like they are just cribbing articles from the nat'l media. Yeah, we are definately better than the Orioles. And will be for the next 10 years.
At least the got a haul for Bedard. That's the type of trade that will have them nipping at our heals in a few years

The O's are rebuilding
Adam Jones looks like the goods. They will hit OK (hopefully Huff will ditch is Babe Ruth impersonation when the Rays come in) and they have a lot of 'could be good' arms at AAA. And Guthrie can be very tough on Monday.

I was about to say
"but they've been rebuilding for ages" and then realized that all of these losing seasons have actually been a result of them trying to add veterans and actually put together a winning team.
If they keep bringing in young talent, yeah, they could be good too in a few years. What they got in return for Tejada was an absolute steal. They made out like bandits on that deal.
Man, won't it be the day when the AL east standings look like this: Rays, Orioles, Jays, Yankees, Red Sox? I can dream, right?
On with the (good) youth movement!
