I actually began working on this

When Boston still led 1-0 in the bottom of the eighth, and I frantically had to change it and come up with the MVP poll to reflect the win. Couldn’t be more glad to do it.

Just finished watching the game on Tivo.

What a helpless feeling watch Buchholz mow through the order again and again and knowing Okajima/Papelbon were waiting for the call to finish it. Then Aki with the blast.. total disbelief.

that fangraph has the rays having a 25% chance of winning the game when aki was up with two outs….it can’t be that high…should have been more like 5%
