What time would you like them to be posted?
I moved the time up to one hour before first pitch because no one ever really posted in the first hour and I thought no one had much use for it. I’ll be glad to tailor the start time to the general mood.

Um
In his short stint at the end of last season, he was pretty hittable.
He’s big, he’s a lefty and his fastball tops out in the low-90s.

Per Rosenthal
The expected return of left-hander Scott Kazmir from an elbow strain this weekend will give the Rays six starters for five spots. Right-handers Edwin Jackson and Jason Hammel are out of minor-league options, so the most logical move might be to stick righty Andy Sonnanstine in the bullpen. Jackson, who has produced dominant performances against the Yankees, Red Sox and Mariners, is drawing the most trade interest. ...

Jackson will be gone by next weekend…..I’m just curious on what we will get in return?

Or Hammel
I think one of the 2 will be moved. With the solid pitching in the minors and another #1 pick which could be a college pitcher we have the depth to afford to move one of the 2

I'd say package a deal for Jeff Clement
But do we need him? Navarro is hitting well, and restricting Clement to DH duty seems pointless.

Jackson has the most trade interest...
because he is the best of the bunch. The easiest and smartest move is to send Sonny down. Do not send JP down. He has proven very effective in long relief.

Or just cut Glover, but everyone hates Sonny because he doesn't throw hard.

I don't hate Sonny at all...
I think he will have a solid career. He throws hard enough, but he has been the least effective and it is the easiest roster move.

Seriously though, cut Glover. I don’t even mind Jackson staying in the rotation, but why keep Glover over Sonny?

How are you so sure? I know you base your opinion on stats,but...
how can you say these things so definitively. Is he going to finish the season with a sub 2 era, probably not. But he is apparently doing his job well and I don’t see why he couldn’t continue to be successful. His stuff must be pretty good if major league hitters are not hitting him hard. I would rather have a pitcher who is careful in the zone and gives up a few walks than have someone who is always in the zone and gets hit hard.

An oldie, but a goodie
Former Rays Hitting Coach Lee Elia is being honored today, for his tirade to Chicago fans and the media…
Here it is….
Fck those fckin’ fans who come out here and say they’re Cub fans that are supposed to be behind you, rippin’ every fckin’ thing you do. I’ll tell you one fckin’ thing, I hope we get fckin’ hotter than sht, just to stuff it up them 3,000 fckin’ people that show up every fckin’ day, because if they’re the real Chicago fckin’ fans, they can kiss my fckin’ ass right downtown and PRINT IT.
They’re really, really behind you around here…my fckin’ ass. What the fck am I supposed to do, go out there and let my fckin’ players get destroyed every day and be quiet about it? For the fckin’ nickel-dime people who turn up? The motherfckers don’t even work. That’s why they’re out at the fckin’ game. They oughta go out and get a fckin’ job and find out what it’s like to go out and earn a fckin’ living. Eighty-five percent of the fckin’ world is working. The other fifteen percent come out here. A fckin’ playground for the cocksckers. Rip them motherfckers. Rip them fckin’ cocksckers like the fckin’ players. We got guys bustin’ their fckin’ ass, and them fckin’ people boo. And that’s the Cubs? My fckin’ ass. They talk about the great fckin’ support the players get around here. I haven’t see it this fckin’ year. Everybody associated with this organization have been winners their whole fckin’ life. Everybody. And the credit is not given in that respect.
Alright, they don’t show because we’re 5 and 14…and unfortunately, that’s the criteria of them dumb fifteen motherfckin’ percent that come out to day baseball. The other eighty-five percent are earning a living. I tell you, it’ll take more than a 5 and 12 or 5 and 14 to destroy the makeup of this club. I guarantee you that. There’s some fckin’ pros out there that wanna win. But you’re stuck in a fckin’ stigma of the fckin’ Dodgers and the Phillies and the Cardinals an all that cheap sht. It’s unbelievable. It really is. It’s a disheartening fckin’ situation that we’re in right now. Anybody who was associated with the Cub organization four or five years ago that came back and sees the multitude of progress that’s been made will understand that if they’re baseball people, that 5 and 14 doesn’t negate all that work. We got 143 fckin’ games left.
What I’m tryin’ to say is don’t rip them fckin’ guys out there. Rip me. If you wanna rip somebody, rip my fckin’ ass. But don’t rip them f*ckin’ guys ‘cause they’re givin’ everything they can give. And right now they’re tryin’ to do more than God gave ‘em, and that’s why we make the simple mistakes. That’s exactly why.
