Rays Writer Wanted
As a Floridian, it makes me proud to see the Rays as a formidable force for the first time. The new group in the Rays front office (many of whom I know) are wonderful people, and I truly believe this is the year the Rays crack .500 and maybe contend through September.
We at The South Florida Fan want to get a Rays presence in our blog, so people all throughout the state can jump on board.
We're looking for interested contributors. If anyone would like to write regularly about the Rays at http://thesouthfloridafan.blogspot.com, please e-mail us at thesouthfloridafan@gmail.com

I feel like I'm at a Supermarket
looking at one of those bulletin board ads, promoting a small "mom & pop" market.

Wasn't this a mom and pop shop not too long ago?

Yup
I'm all for this, too
Nothing wrong with a little cross-promotion :-D
I hope I don't incite a flame-war with my chuckle-worthy comment.

Cross-Promotion not the Goal
While I'm a fan of your site and would plan to promote it regardless of any expectation, that wasn't the goal here.
I honestly thought an eloquent Rays fan would like the opportunity to share his/her thoughts, reaching a group of fans not always accustomed to Rays material. Keep in mind...we do get FSN down here, so the Rays are on frequently.
If that turned into a disruptive supermarket ad, then I apologize. I'll look elsewhere.

It's not a problem
Just trying to be a smartass, but not at your expense.

No worries
Jacob. I wasn't offended at all. I love your site and I'm proud to be able to post on it.

Ruggiano, maybe
Ryu, definitely not, since he won't even be on the active roster Sunday.
