Matt Garza left Tuesday's game with radial nerve irritation, which is bad but not as major as tear, news to come on his possible skipped start/DL stint as we hear it.

I was wondering why he only went 2.2 innings with 70 pitches today. What exactly does this injury mean?

So I wonder
Who will they bring up for the period when both Garza and Kaz are out? Niemann?

Doesn't it have to be Niemann??
We don't need another Jae Kuk siting.

What the fruck?
What in the world are we doing? Jae Kuk Ru? Are you kidding me? Only thing I can conjure up is that they want to bring up Kaz soon and don't want to disrupt Niemann's flow by bringing him up then sending him down.
Also, if Garza's injury turns out to be more serious than it is, than it will confirm my belief that we should have kept Delmon Young. Elliot Johnson just doesn't cut it for me as a RF. Or Nathan Haynes, or a hobbled Cliff Floyd. Only Gomes has a shot at really contrbuting, but it won't be on a consistent basis and his track record is not a good one.

You missed the part where it says "WON'T MAKE START" I'm assuming?

Helliot should never play RF...
Except as a defensive replacement when the Rays are comfortably ahead. He is OK defensively (maybe not enough arm strength) but his bat is a severe handicap for COF. EJ's bat is fine at MIF.
Would have been nice to have Ruggs up last night.

PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW
I believe the Rays have just assumed their customary position in the cellar last night. With an opening day sell out crowd Manager Joe Madden puts what may be the worst line up in all of baseball in. Starting with Capt. K Jonny Gomes, Aybar who is awful, Bakersfield player Elliot Johnson, Jason I can't hit a lick Bartlett, to go along with the struggling Iwamura and C.C. and all I can say is PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW! These guys STINK!
To compound the problems Garza goes down to join Kazmir on the DL and we have a Rays team that looks like the triple- A little leaguers of old.
After watching the game last night, and managements decision to bring up the horrid Ryu, a 100 loss season looms on the horizon once again.
Goats of the game: Friedman, Madden.

Yep, Maddon's an idiot
Because he played Gomes, Aybar, Johnson, Bartlett, Iwamura, and CC. He should have benched them all! We don't need 9 stinkin' players on the the field!
