The Rays are going to be 6 games above .500 for the first time in franchise history after today's ass whoopin of the Yankees tonite. But did anyone realize how well their numbers look against the rest of the league?
We are only 1 game now behind the Red Sux for 1st place in the AL East. However, we would be in 1st place in 2 other divisions in MLB (AL Central and NL Central). We would also be closing in on 1st place in every other division in MLB.
What the heck is going on? I feel like I'm going to wake up and we're going to be where we always are.....in last place. I know I know, it's only May, but by all the other blogs and national attention I see the Rays getting, it proves that my head isn't the only one that's turning!
GO RAYS! BEAT DEM DAMN YANKEES!

Nice add.....
We could have continued another streak if it weren’t for Glover. We had no ER since Sonny gave up 5 last game. J.P. Howell had 3 scoreless and Garza had 7 shutout innings.
