Uncharted Territory
To boldly go where no Ray has gone before...
Every win is now uncharted territory for the Tampa Bay Rays. Every day we continue above .500. Every day we sit atop the division. It's all brand new.
And the team is now expecting to win. Not hoping, expecting. They love to win, and they hate to lose. And it's no longer about the far future, it's now about tomorrow. Joe Maddon has a rule: celebrate on every win for no more than 30 minutes, dwell on every loss for no more than 30 minutes. Then, move on to the next game.
The attitude of the team is a winning attitude. The fans are starting to pour in. Let's keep the team on the winning side, and see what happens when Baltimore rolls back in on Thursday.

Tony Dungy imports the same rule in his team
In his book, he states that he only lets the players celebrate on the plane ride home of games, then after the plane ride its on to preparing for next weeks’ game.

Fan are not pouring in quite yet.
I will be flying down twice in june to take in a few series though. Unfortunately I seem to be back luck (when I attend games) for our beloved Rays.
