Through 48 games in 2008, the Rays have scored 214 runs while allowing only 193.
Through 48 games in 2007, the Rays had scored 224 runs while allowing 289.

Last night I mentioned
a line from the movie “Charade”. The crooks are frustrated that they cannot find the money they suspect Audrey Hepburn’s dead husband left her. Ned Glass says: “I keep telling myself we stole a lot of money.”
That’s how I feel about our offense. I keep telling myself we have a lot of good offensive players. But where the hell is the offense. I know we are middle of the pack in the AL, but it seems that none of our offensive stars is doing much, with only Navarro really hitting well.
